What RGC4 collects, why, and what it will not do with it.

Beta policy · effective October 15, 2026

RGC4 prepared this policy for its beta period, and it has not been reviewed by an attorney.

What we never ask for

Complete contact lists, confidential customer information, government identifiers, social security numbers, and banking details. If a form appears to ask for any of these, do not supply it and tell us.

Who we are

RGC4, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("RGC4", "we"), operates rgc4.com and the RGC4 Collaboration Network. We are responsible for the personal information described here. To reach a person about your information, email inquiries@rgc4.com.

How we use it

We use the information above to review applications and talk with applicants; to match Advisors, Service Providers and customers to opportunities; to administer agreements, payments and the engagements we run; to send the emails the service needs, such as sign-in codes and updates on an application; to keep the platform secure and prevent misuse; and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.

AI that reads what you supply

With your consent, shown before you upload, one named AI provider reads what you supply: to draft your profile, and, for an optional résumé attached to an application, to fill in the application form for you to check, and to summarize it for the person reviewing the application. Contact details and identifiers are removed first. The provider may not train on it, and we keep the file and the result in our own database. You can decline and answer the questions yourself, and you can withdraw consent later.

AI helps prepare and assess information. It never makes a binding decision about an application, standing, work or payment; a person at RGC4 does, and an automated decision that goes against you can be reviewed by a person on request.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run the service: with the companies that host and operate it for us, under their terms of service and confidentiality obligations; with the other participants in an engagement you are part of, limited to what that engagement needs; when the law requires it; and with a successor if our business is transferred.

The companies that process information for us are: Vercel (website hosting, United States); Neon (database, hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States); Resend (email delivery); Google (Google Workspace email, documents and calendar); Bunny (video delivery for public pages, which receives no personal information from us); and the AI provider named in any consent you give.

A Service Provider learns a customer's identity only after accepting an offer and acknowledging confidentiality. Documents you upload carry a sharing label you choose.

How long we keep it

If an application is declined or withdrawn, we keep it for 180 days and then anonymize it, keeping only a record that a decision was made. For participants and customers, we keep information for as long as the relationship lasts, and afterwards for as long as we need it for our legal, tax and accounting obligations and to resolve disputes.

Cookies

We use cookies that the site needs to work: to keep you signed in and to protect sign-in from misuse. On your first visit we also set one first-party cookie, rgc4_attr, that records how you found us (campaign tags in the link, the referring page and the first page you saw). It lasts 90 days, is used only by us to understand which introductions work, and is never shared with advertisers. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can delete cookies in your browser at any time.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it for their role, sign-in uses one-time codes or your Google or Microsoft account rather than passwords we store, and significant actions are recorded. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it or give you a copy, and you may withdraw a consent you gave. Email inquiries@rgc4.com from the address we have on file. We reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some information to meet legal obligations, and we will tell you if so. We do not treat anyone differently for exercising these rights.

Where it is processed

RGC4 is based in Illinois, and the information is stored and processed in the United States. If you use the service from outside the United States, your information will be processed there.

Children

The service is for businesses and professionals. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date, and tell participants by email before a significant change takes effect.
